Wool Sponges

Wool Sponges – your new favorite kitchen companion! Made from 100% USA Wool, these sponges are a delightful upgrade from their synthetic counterparts and are the best choice for you and your home. This was one of our first products during the early days of booth shows in 2012!

I learned recently that sponges are supposed to be replaced every two weeks (news to me). These Wool Sponges are designed to be used, abused, and at the end of their life, composted! Our Wool is completely biodegradable and sustainable so there's no waste.

These can be ordered per pack, or via a recurring subscription to insure a fresh pack arrives on time!

How to Care for Your Wool Sponge:

• Rinse and Squeeze: After each use, rinse your Wool Sponge thoroughly and squeeze out excess water. I like to reshape it back to a rectangle for longevity.
• Air Dry: Allow it to air dry between uses to maintain its freshness and longevity.
• Occasional Wash: Every now and then, give it a gentle hand wash with mild soap to keep it in top condition.
• Replace it!: Don't be afraid to replace it! Our goal is reduce the use of plastics and synthetics in the home. Wool is a renewable resource and a clean way to support our local USA sheep industry.
  
• How I use them: I pretty much have two sponges in use at a time. Eventually the first sponge gets denser and tougher, which is great for more abrasive uses. The second one then becomes the softer, more malleable one for my glassware and such. That cycle simply continues!
